The Series 5 Experience Stiga Estate 598 W is a powerful lawn and garden tractor ideal for lawns or rougher ground. The 598 W is primarily designed to cut and collect the grass but can also be used with an optional mulching plug. When fitted the mulching plug will cut and re-cut the grass into a very fine mulch which gets blown down onto the ground. This is great in drier conditions when this mulch provides extra nutrients and moisture to the grass roots.
The Estate 598W offers the user many features to make both the mowing and driving experience as good as it can be. The transmission is hydrostatic and works like an automatic car. Pressing the accelerator to move forward and easing off to stop. No gear changes needed.
Whilst driving you’ll notice the comfortable seat and ergonomic steering wheel with a soft grip. The controls are situated in positions where the driver doesn’t have to leave their seat to operate them. There is an informative LED dashboard display and LED headlights for those darker days.
The 2 blade cutter deck has a 98cm cutting width and 2 anti-scalp wheels which help the deck to move smoothly over the ground.
The deck height can be adjusted through 7 positions from 25 – 80mm with a central lever.
