Billy Goat's CR550HCEU Compact Power Rake is built using a single piece heavy-duty construction providing low vibration and improved handling. The economical GC160 Honda engine powers the mechanical flail blades which work at a productively rate of 1225m2/h removing up to 4 times the thatch than a standard de-thatcher. Thatch is dead grass knotted with dead leaves and other organic debris. When thatch is thick, it prevents natural elements such as sun and water from reaching the grass roots. A build-up of thatch also provides a cosy environment for pests and disease. Power rakes are best suited to gardens where the thatch has become unmanageable. The CR550HCEU has a 51cm / 20” working width and rakes at a depth of 0.3 to 1.3cm. The robust free-swinging flail blade reel is heat treated and made from tempered steel for extra durability. The push lawn rake has comfortable padded handles to minimise user fatigue. The handles also fold for storage and transportation. The flail reel can be removed and switched for an optional slicing reel within 10 minutes.SPECIFICATIONS
